    I agree. Trees show all their best beauty in winter. This painting shows that to be true, it’s a lovely image and you have captured the tree’s personality.

    I have often wondered about looking closer at the abstract forms within in the trunks, dispensing with the branches and outer form, and using those inner shapes and colours as a starting point for a painting.
