I was born in 1978, I live and work in France.
Highlights of my experience include
- 1995 Pastel summer courses at the University Of Boulder, Colorado (School of Fine Arts).
- 1996 Metal work with Master Craftsman (Compagnon Chaudronnier), with whom I designed and created several metal sculptures from sheets of copper and zinc.
- 1994-1996 Art classes with well known equestrian artist Christian Lernould in Chantilly (France) as well as with French artist Hélène de Jessé.
- 2004 A Professional training course in Decorative Painting in the South of France.
- 2005 and ongoing : Collaboration with French artist Christophe Martin on various projects and workshops (interior decorating and murals) in and around Paris and Switzerland.
- 2006 Inspired by past-century “Polioramas” and vintage wood block wallpapers, I have created several “Polypanoramas”- see POLYPANORAMA .
- 2008-2009 As a member of the “Indies Art Club XXX” in Nagasaki (Japan), a work space open to local contemporary artists, I discovered another aspect of my artistic voice while painting urban views of Nagasaki City.
- 2011 First linoprints, and creation of a blog gathering humoristic drawings called “HOTELDOG“.
- 2013 Back to Nature. Beginning of a serie dedicated to flowers and trees.
- 2015 Going on an adventure with THE 6th CONTINENT, a work of imagination.
- 2016-2017 Grand scale artistic murals with Christophe Martin‘s team in the Karl Lagerfeld Suite “Les grands appartements”. Hôtel de Crillon. Paris.
- 2019 Grand scale artistic paintings in the newly refurbished restaurant Le Jules Vernes, at the Eiffel Tower with Christophe Martin.

Your work is beautiful…I love the color and expression in each piece. A canvas doesn’t speak to ours ears, first it speaks to the heart and then to the eye.

Thank you. I love the printing process. I’ve always been intereted in old wall papers, where the design came from a wood block. One of the most famous ones come from the Züber factory. As a matter of fact, one of their wall paper can be seen at the White House. I hope one day, I’ll be able to get a few rolls.

Intéressant. Je ne connaissait pas ce mouvement en particulier, et je vous remercie de m’en faire part. On y voit là une sorte de volonté de faire table rase des fioritures inutiles, comme si nous n’avions plus de temps à perdre. Les lignes géométriques qui prévalent dans ce mouvement sont aussi présentes dans le constructivisme russe, le cubisme français et le vorticisme anglais. Comme si d’un seul tenant les artistes avaient compris que 2 et 2 font 4 et que quoi qu’il arrive nous ne pouvions échapper à notre destin. En l’occurrence la guerre. J’ai entendu ou lu quelque part que les artistes pouvaient parfois agir comme des baromètres de la santé mentale d’une société. Lorsqu’on observe la prédominance des ligne droites, des contrastes marquant, l’absence de courbes significatives et de douceur dans ces oeuvres, avec le recul du temps, on peut deviner l’état d’esprit général de cette époque. Je pense qu’il ne devait pas y avoir de place pour le compromis, les contrastes étant trop forts et les cassures préférés aux courbes. Merci pour vos remarques sur mon travail. J’apprécie vraiment. Je cherche moi aussi a tracer les lignes que je vois autour de moi dans mes oeuvres.

En fait cette volonte devait avoir des raisons purement economiques puisque on voulait rendre accessible a tous dans les aspects de la vie de tous les jours a des objets plus beaux et a un prix abordable… Le nom du mouvement est fait Secession.le WW est plus le nom d’une entreprise.
