Le coin de la rue que je connais le mieux,

le pin qui find au soleil,

ma rue.

The corner of the street that I know best,

the melting pine,

my street.

I read he was a member of the Vorticists. There was an exhibition at the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice about the Vorticist movement a couple years back, and I was lucky to see it. I wonder if I might have seen some of his work there. The « Ship camouflage » painting rings a bell.
