I read he was a member of the Vorticists. There was an exhibition at the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice about the Vorticist movement a couple years back, and I was lucky to see it. I wonder if I might have seen some of his work there. The « Ship camouflage » painting rings a bell.

They have a couple of his works in the local gallery here – I liked him even when I was quite young.
