The date. 2014. Acrylic on paper. 24x44cm. By Julie Harms. (Private collection).

Walking up the street to the Sacré Coeur, on a cold winter day, a happy couple. The man is taking snap shots of his date. The scenery is like something out of a fairy tale.

    Magnifique !

  2. I just love this. You have captured a tiny little detail of life that is easy to overlook because it happens all the time around us, and made it special. And visually what lovely colors, so lively! Thank you for posting.

    1. Thankyou for your comment. I find great pleasure in little details. This couple was visibly in its own world, Enjoying their romance.

  3. I simply love carousels. You can almost hear the “um-pa-pa” of the music in this painting! Magical!

  4. Walking along the southbank on a cold winter day, a happy couple. The man is taking snap shots of his date. This was my partner and I in December. We did this exact same thing. I absolutely love it.
